About me
My name is Mr. Tilzey. I have been teaching for 19 years. This year is my 20th year. I have taught everything from general math up to pre-calculus. This year I am just teaching Geometry. I graduated from Nampa Christian High school in 1987 and then from George Fox University near Portland Oregon 4 years later. Since then I have received my master's degree from the University of Phoenix. As a high school and college student I participated in many sports. My main sport was long distance running. In track I won the state championship 2 mile race and went on to place high in my college national cross-country meet. I have also been an electrician, furniture store manager, and a real estate agent. I am also a basketball official and have been a deputy sheriff with Canyon County Sheriff Department. Please be reminded that when class time is given to do work, students must take advantage of the time given and use it productively. Many students use the excuse that they will do the work at home, but other students are distracted when friends are not working. It is a discipline issue if work is not being completed when class time is given. Students will find their names on the discipline log and parents may be notified of the issue. |
